Rakesh Patyal is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Specialist and family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized mental health care. With a strong belief in patient-centered treatment, he creates a welcoming, judgment-free space where individuals feel safe, heard, and respected.

Yes, Rakesh Patyal is accepting new clients, and appointments can be booked on the RUR Hope Clinic website.

Yes, telehealth appointments are available and can be requested through the clinic's website.

We’re in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and UHC/Optum for Wisconsin residents. If your insurance isn’t listed or you don’t have insurance, a superbill can be provided for reimbursement, and self-pay rates are available.

  • New patient intake: $300 (60 min)
  • Follow-up visit: $150 (30 min)
  • Medication refill: $75 (15 min)

Please provide 24 hours’ notice to avoid a full session fee charge. The first late cancellation or missed appointment is excused, but subsequent occurrences will incur a fee. Outstanding balances must be paid before future appointments.

Medication refills are provided at appointments. For refills between visits, please message through the patient portal; requests will be processed within 3 business days. Refills require a follow-up appointment.

Benzodiazepines are not prescribed for daily use. If you are currently using them, a tapering plan will be discussed. Stimulants for ADHD may be prescribed after a complete evaluation. If you have an ADHD diagnosis and are taking a stimulant, please bring your records to your first visit or sign a release of information to transfer them to us.

Initial follow-ups are every 2-4 weeks, and once stable, appointments are typically scheduled every 1-6 months.

Yes, we collaborate with your medical provider and therapist, requiring a signed release of information to do so.
